We live in an age of unceasing input – talk radio with call-ins; polling for political campaigns; posts on Facebook (for old people); and Snapchat and WhatsApp which is something used by the children to make sure parents remain in a fog.

Skepticism aside, feedback is important in the public policy arena which is the drive behind the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s annual Business Caucus during Business Day at the Legislature.  There were 92 people who attended Business Caucus with an average of 84 answering each question.

Friday’s edition of Capitol-ism revealed how the people gathered for Business Caucus answered about 24 questions about policies being discussed during the Legislative Briefing.
