The Governor¹s Giant Vision Business Awards have been established to help accomplish this mission. These awards are being hosted by the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
By entering this competition, you will be challenged to prepare the best possible business plan and network with successful entrepreneurs, plus you might win some money to help your business get started.
Aside from this competition, please remember that the Department of Tourism and State Development has many resources to help you in starting a business. The state has regional economic development specialists who will get you in contact with experts in business development and, when it is appropriate, help you get acquainted with the many financing programs offered by state and local development groups.
