The South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry offers a number of advertising and sponsorship opportunities that provide your company with public exposure, as well as lending support to worthwhile programs.
Website Sponsor - $1,000
With the launching of the Chamber's new website, we are now able to offer your company name and logo prominently displayed on the front page with a link to your website. Website sponsors will be mentioned in press releases and publications for one year from the date of placement.
Annual Action Report - $150 to $750
This publication is a 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" book that includes information on all Chamber programs and publications, a listing of our members by dues category and information on becoming a member. The reports are distributed during Business Day at the Legislature, mailed to the membership and used throughout the year for membership recruitment efforts. 1,500 copies are printed. Sponsorship for the Action Report will be $500 and will include a black and white ad on the inside front cover and one full-day registration to Business Day events. Black and white advertising on inside pages will be $150 for a quarter-page ad and $250 for a half-page ad. Quarter-page ads must be no more than 2-3/8" x 4" for vertical or no more than 5" x 2" for horizontal. Half-page ad sizes must be no more than 2-3/8" x 8" for vertical or no more than 5" x 4" for horizontal. The deadline to reserve space is December 15 and digital ad copy must be submitted by January 15.
Capitol-Ism - $250 to $700
E-newsletters are sent to our membership (and to additional businesses by our members) typically twice a week during the legislative session. A conservative estimate of readership is 3,000 per issue. Capitol-Ism will be archived on the website by date and content of publication for ease of retrieving information. Timely announcements, reports and updates on legislative issues impacting South Dakota businesses comprise the content of this newsletter. Advertising space just below the masthead is available for the months of January, February and March at a rate of $250 per month or $700 for the full three months. For anyone committing to the full three months, the ad may be changed once during that time. This position is available on a first come, first serve basis. Additional ads will be placed throughout the bi-weekly newsletter.
Legislative Handbook - $355
As a resource book for anyone involved with the legislative process, the State Chamber's Handbook is an indispensable tool. The popular 4" x 6" size makes it convenient to be carried and includes the legislative calendar and cutoff dates, a legislative district map, legislator contact information, house and senate committee schedules, a telephone listing of constitutional offices, legislative staff and state agencies, and a listing of Chamber board members, leadership and staff. 3,000 copies are distributed to legislators, lobbyists, constitutional officers, cabinet members and Chamber members at the beginning of the legislative session. All ads are full-page (not to exceed 3-3/6" x 5-5/16") and the space available is for black and white copy. The rate is $325 per page. Ads must be submitted in digital format. Advertisers receive 25 complimentary copies, with additional copies available for purchase. Deadline to reserve space is November 21 and ad copy must be received by December 15.
